Headlines: Renowned Dancehall artise Shatta Wale has Shed Heart of Oak for Kotoko
Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has junked Hearts of Oak for Asante Kotoko after declaring that he now supports the Porcupine Warriors.
he self-acclaimed Dancehall artise made the declaration on his Twitter.
He explained that his reason for joining Asante Kotoko is due to his ‘godfather’ Dr Kofi Abban appointment as a board member of the club.
Shatta Wale wrote on twitter “Since my godfather, Kofi Abban is now a board member of Asante Kotoko, I am now supporting Kotoko with full vim, including my fans, Wukum Apem A, Apem Beba”.
The business mogul was appointed on to the newly constituted board led by Dr Kwame Kyei last week.

Shatta Wale in May was spotted wearing a Hearts of Oak shirt with many believing he was part of the Phobian family.
Shatta wale has been seen in football recently when he performed during Premier league side Legon Cities first home game against kotoko. The dancehall king and his fans would be a huge fan base for the porcupine warriors.
