Headlines: CID grabs Akuapim poloo over nude photo with a boy.
Controversial Ghanaian actress Rosemond Brown popularly called "Akuapim poloo" has released a nude photo of herself and her son on social media. This photo has caused a lot of mayhem among Ghanaians as they have lambasted her for sexually abusing her son. She uploaded the photo on Instagram. Majority of Ghanaians on social media is still shock why she chose that photo.
Among many Ghanaians who has describe the act as child abuse is Child Rights International. Child Right International is non governmental civil organization that seeks to ensure the rights of children. The organization has petition the CID of Ghana Police Service to investigate the trending photo of Akuapim poloo that depicts sexual abuse. They believe that, the child would be traumatized as a result of the respond Ghanaians gave to the photo.

However, some Ghanaians have also defended Akuapim poloo. They also believe that, it is a family business and that doesn't depicts sexual abuse as the majority is claiming. One of such people is Efia Odo. Efia Odo believed that, fathers in sometimes past were putting ginger into the private part of their daughters and people kept it cool as a normal thing. She also said that some fathers have been impregnating their daughters.
Ghanaians attacked Efia Odo for defending Akuapim poloo. They questioned her that, would she have defended it if it was a male and his daughter?. The photo has received massive criticism and that has force Akuapim poloo to delete the photo.
