On May 2nd 2008, 12 years ago, Ghana lost a great actor, the late Kwame Owusu Ansah. Exactly 12 years(2nd May 2020) Ghana lost another actor in the person of Bishop Bernard Nyarko.                  

The slightly difference in the two unfortunate incident is that, Kwame Owusu Ansah's death occurred in an accident on Accra- Tema motorway.                      

These great actors possessed some similar qualities, that is, they were both good at their jobs, have good height, born on Saturday and were loved by Ghanaians.          

One similarity is that, they both died at their peak of their career.      Meanwhile, the sudden demise of actor Bishop Bernard Nyarko has affected many people including his colleagues in the movie and showbiz industry.              

The whole country, especially his fans been mourning him since his demise. The cause of his death is yet to be known.

 He was supposed to pick one lady from many to go on a date but surprisingly declined the offer.                                                        

Explaining himself he said that the last lady, Freda he could see was one who would give him a lot of stress. Adding that he was  already stressed in his life to be with a lady who would add up more stress for him.

President of the Ghana National Graduate Teachers Association( NAGRAT ), Angel carbunu has hinted that the teacher association is working on getting their colleagues in private schools unionized.                           Private school teachers are not unionized because their proprietors do not approve of unionization in  their  establishment.                                  

But Mr. Angel Carbunu speaking in an interview on Neat FM, said its imperative that graduate teachers who teach in private schools will be unionized.           

 He noted that they( graduate teachers in private schools) have the same qualification like their colleagues in public schools so they need to be equally treated like their colleagues and adding them to the union will be a reality.                    

"We are working on it to get graduate teachers to be unionized. It has been long. This should have been done long time ago because they hold the same qualification like their colleagues in public schools. We are working on the documentations and when we are done, we will get a court order to enforce it to ensure that all graduate teachers are unionized", he said.                             

He noted that most proprietors do not want any unionization but with the court order, they will have no other choice but to comply with the directives.

Tanzanian president, John  Magufuli on Sunday ordered a probe on the country's coronavirus testing kits after samples taken from goat and pawpaw test positive.                          Speaking at an event in Chato in the Northwest of Tanzania, Magufuli said the testing kits which were imported from abroad had "technical errors".            

The president said he had instructed the security agency to check the quality of the testing kits, who then randomly obtained several non- human samples, including from a goat and pawpaw but had assigned them human names and ages.    

 According to him, these samples were taken to the laboratory to test for the coronavirus, with the lab technicians left deliberately unaware of their origins.          

President Magufuli later disclosed that samples from pawpaw and the goat tested positive for coronavirus, adding it was likely that some people were being tested positive when in fact they were not infected by the coronavirus.                
 " we extracted a sample from a goat which turned positive. This tells you that something is not adding up" he said.                    

 "Are we now supposed to quarantine goats and fruits?" The president questioned.

  The BBC Africa added their voice to the matter when it confirmed on 2nd May that 15 African states have accepted to use the medicine.                                            

The teleconference meeting on 2nd May was to discuss the efficiency of the medicine.         A reliable source said," president   Ramaphosa  of south Africa, Uhuru Kenyatta were part of the teleconference call of which other 10 African states that discussed the adoption of the medicine.
