THe Ghana Textiles Printing Company Limited abbreviated and popularly known as (GTP) has released two new Collections named LOCKDOWN & FELLOW GHANAIANS. The two collections have recently been made available in the Ghanaian market.

LOCKDOWN CLOTHES:

 

Lockdown collections comes in four (4) unique designs with each design expressed in four (4) different colorways. These four (4) designs depict some of the lockdown measures.

Why the name ‘Lockdown’?

Two main reasons influenced the decisions:

1. First is to remind everyone of us to observe the safety measures and to practice them.

2. Send is to tell a story to the generations yet unborn to know that once upon a time in the year 2020, a certain strange phenomenon called COVID-19 occurred which caused the whole world to go on lockdown in order to save and preserve life of the human race.

FELLOW GHANAIANS:

The Ghanaian COVID-19 Story cannot be told without the periodic national broadcasts by the President of the time, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. His speeches always began with the phrase, ‘FELLOW GHANAIANS’ which has become an affectionate nickname of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana. 

This collection comes in three unique designs. These designs feature creatively the iconic pair of spectacles which characterizes the face of His Excellency in different renditions. One design shows this motif as on the TV screen; another with his favorite classic GTP design and the last one featuring radio waves as his broadcasts go nationwide.

GTP hope and trust that these new and colourful designs will create excitement around the GTP brand and together, we can fight Covid-19 and defeat it totally.

Political parties have always being using songs by various artists at their conferences and campaigns. The ruling party NPP has adopted "Ofeetso" by Sarkodie as their campaign song as they play it almost every gathering.

The BET winner has expressed his concern about the use of his song at NPP rallies. Sarkodie posted a video on Twitter and expressed his views with a caption.

It could be recalled that, Sarkodie reacted to Sammy Gyamfi's post on Twitter some weeks ago. Sarkodie's reply didn't go down well with the NDC and they tagged him as an NPP.

Perhaps this made Sarkodie to respond immediately after the NPP used his song at their conference.

Most artists have revealed their political affiliation while others have remain neutral. The bashing Sarkodie received from the NDC might have struck him hard. Many artiste would love their songs being played at political rallies but Sarkodie think otherwise because of the bashing he received from the NDC.

On UTV's Friday evening show dubbed " The real news" hosted by Akrobeto, revealed that Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, member of Parliament for Assin Central got "broken heart" in his early days.

Akrobeto, also known as "who nose tomorrow" in delivering the story on Ken. Agyapong, added his own version of "broken heart". Akrobeto disclosed that, he went to buy a basket of Kenkey instead of buying just two. He carried the basket to the house and was forced to pay for all.

He disclosed that, Ken. Agyapong once cried like a baby when he was broken hearted.

Sarkodie has disclosed that his yearly concert "This is Tema" might not come on due to the coronavirus pandemic which has affected everything in this country. He revealed this in a post he posted on Twitter yesterday.

Most of his fans were not happy as they will not be having the concert this year due to the coronavirus outbreak. Some also proposed that, he can do it virtual because some artists have staged a virtual concert since the outbreak. Others were hopeful that, the virus will vanish very soon hence the concert must happen.

One fan also proposed that, they should follow the directives the government gave to churches as 100 members are allowed for one hour and after that another batch follows in that order. Will Sarkodie do it virtual?

The multiple award winner returned from Abroad last week after his wife delivered a baby boy. They were stuck up there because of the government decision to close all borders as a step taken to control the spread of the virus.

The pandemic has affected everything in this country and the music industry is not exempted from the damages caused. Most have resorted to virtual performances to connect to their fans. Music lovers wish the virus had vanish so that they can see their artists performing live.

Teacher trainees in the various public colleges of Education shall receive their allowances in June as reported by Teacher Trainee's Association of Ghana (TTAG).

TTAG issued a statement on 18th June 2020, that students who do not received their allowances during the first semester will be paid any arrears owed them.

The president of TTAG and his delegation met with stakeholders to discuss issues affecting teacher trainees on 15- 16 June 2020. Payment of allowances was one of the issues discussed.

Information reaching CIT!ZEN NEWS indicate that, about 6,107 students are yet to be paid their first semester allowance.

TTAG therefore called on all SRCs to engage their college allowance coordinators to ensure that correct details of of the affected trainees are submitted on time for payment.

The prince of Saudi Arabia has been in coma for the past  14 years.

Popularly called "sleeping prince" Khalid bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud the prince was 18 years old when he went unconscious after a car accident  in London.

The accident occurred in 2005 and he went unconscious and was admitted at a special health facility in Rihadh, Saudi Arabia.

It was reported that the prince, sometime ago made a slight move of his head from the left to the right. This progress made his family happy and hoped that he will one day wake up.

His father once said "Allah who saved his soul for a decade now is able to bring him back to life".

Ibrah one in a post on his social media platform threatened the life of president Akuffo Addo saying the president would join the list of people who are going to die in three days time.

His post did not received the backing from Ghanaians as people see it as lack of respect and threat to the life of the president.

Ghanaians have therefore, called on National Security to arrest Ibrah one and make him face the full rigorous of the law for making such statement.

The Government is set to put smiles on the faces of all public senior high schools in Ghana by providing new buses.

Headmasters and Mistresses in public senior high schools in Ghana will be happy hearing thus news. The number of students under this free SHS is over the current facilities. Headmasters find it difficult when they are going for social programs such as inter-co and Milo games. 

Headmasters have to struggle for buses to send their students to their destination. They have to spend extra money to find buses.

Currently the buses are in the country going through registration process before distribution to various schools.

Son of Archbishop Duncan Williams, Daniel Duncan Williams was the talk of town yesterday on social media after he shared a video of himself with his girls in a pool all in the name of having fun.

He went ahead to release another video of himself flaunting his 'pen drive' and was twerking as well. People were shocked to the core as some attributed his behavior to drug abuse. Others asked what happened to a son of a great man of God.

He released another video giving his reasons for that behavior. According to him, he said he did that out of frustration and hatred he has for his father. He revealed that his father caused his arrest, always prevented him from visiting his mother as he accused her if being a witch and also separated him from his girlfriend as he accused his girlfriend of being a witch.

Daniel also shockingly accused his father for being a demon and also said he doesn't believe his father knows the God he is preaching to people.

However, Archbishop Duncan Williams has break silence concerning the embarrassing videos of his son. He revealed that his son's embarrassing behaviour is as a result of illness he was currently treating.

He finally pleaded on Ghanaians to remember his family in prayers.

A letter from the three teacher unions in Ghana is alerting teachers that, with regards to the Ghc1,200 professional development allowance takes effect this year, after consultation with various stakeholders.

In view of this, the National Teaching Council after meeting with the pre- tertiary education unions have decided that, all in- service teachers are required to pay an amount of Ghc100 for issuance of license.

The said amount sighted in the letter will be deducted from source and the license will be renewed every three years.

Every first son need to know this, because every family has monitoring spirit, whether you like it or not you just have to believe this. There is no family that didn't have a covenant with the devil, and also first sons are gift from God.

In Africa you will see many first sons who have turned into drunkards and other bad life. Open your eyes to see this!!.

Our great grandfather or mother have so many encounters with the devil which we don't know ,e.g blood covenant, marriage covenant, death covenant etc. Some make covenant just because of power.

1. *Blood covenant*: Blood covenant has to do with life, it may be that, every first son in the family will not reach the age of 40, many other things runs through the family about first sons or children just to open your eyes.
2. *Marriage covenant*: Some marriages don't get child at the age of 40-60, its not normal, its because of some covenant you don't know.

 THE WAY OUT OF THIS

Firstly you have to know Jesus Christ, you need to accept him as your Lord and personal saviour.

Secondly, you need to break down the covenant by powerful prayers, because there is nothing you can do without breaking down the covenant totally.

Lastly, run away from sin, its very important because the devil will always come with a test.

Prophet Elisha Salifu Amoako, the founder and leader of Alive Chapel International has called bluff of churches who refused to worship on Sunday as being political. 

Speaking on Adom TV evening news on Sunday 7th June, the prophet alleged that "those pastors who are politicians under the disguise of being pastors, are being controversial in their decision not to open their churches. Is the church for?. The church is not for you. The church is for Jesus. He has built his church and you are just a Shepherd of his flock".

The prophet was advocating strongly for churches to be reopened when there was ban on church activities by the President. He advised that "if God instruct you to Shepherd his flock, you can't say you won't open the church".

Meanwhile, reports suggest that churches who refused to worship reasoned that their preparation towards reopening was not enough. Some churches  which opened revealed they didn't get to worship as they would want to.

President John Magufuli of Tanzania has declared his country free from covid 19 following recent report from the health minister. 

He called upon Tanzanians to stop wearing face masks because they might use to infect themselves. He also urged all Tanzanians to keep trusting in the Lord and continue praying for his intervention. 

" corona is over. I recently heard the health minister saying we only have 4 patients remaining Der se Salaam. My fellow teachers, I don't see anyone of you wearing a face mask. It's because there is no corona. That is why today we are freely interacting without face masks. If someone brings you a face mask refuse it. Tell the person to wear it at his house with his wife and children " said President Magufuli during the CWT Conference.

Magufuli who has received massive criticism about the way he is handling the covid 19 situation expressed his disappointment with the leaders like the speaker for continuing wearing the face mask. He stated that the 3 days' national prayer worked. He called on all his people to put God first. 

Speaking during the same conference announced plans to reopen all schools in the country.

Leader and founder of Heaven's gate Ministry, Nicholas Osei, also known as prophet Kumchacha has labeled Mensah Otabil as fake.

He revealed this in an interview on Kasapa FM Accra, Kumchacha stated that Pastor Mensah Otabil accused Ex president Mahama of being incompetent. However, Pastor Mensah Otabil wasn't able to manage Capital bank as a board chairman but accused a president for being incompetent.

He maintained that, Mensah Otabil in recent times charged his congregation to pay $5,000 as offering yet he couldn't his own bank.

Kumchacha asked that, what's the source of income of Mensah Otabil yet he has shares at Media General (TV3), owns one of the most expensive universities in Ghana in terms of school fees. 

He stressed that, these English speaking pastors goes to the extend writing books and sell them at GHC 500.00 - 1,000.00. But these English speaking pastors  accuse the twi speaking pastors who sell anointing oil for being fake men of God. 

He added that some pastors are hypocrites and it's about time to stop their hypocrisy.

The Education Minister, Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has indicated that, the government has established a new allowance scheme for Teachers and non - teaching staff in the Ghana Education Service (GES).      

 The Minister said, " Government, because of the continual professional development and licensing exams for new teachers, has instituted a new allowance for teachers and non- teaching staff called the Teacher Professional Allowance ".                    

The Minister revealed that, teachers will earn a total amount of GHC 1200 while non - teaching staff earn GHC 600 per year.                                                         

He stated that, apart from few teachers to be paid in June, all teachers who were promoted have been placed on their new salary scales and duly paid.                 

He revealed this in an address to the press on June 2, on measures outlined by the ministry towards the resumption of schools for final year students in the country.

The National Communications Officer of the biggest Opposition party in Ghana, the NDC has incur the wrath Ghanaians on social media especially Twitter.          

Sammy Gyamfi this morning posted a photo mimicking the death of Black American George Floyd. George Floyd was killed by a cop kneeling on him(George) saying "I can't breath". This has triggered many people as they have since his death hits the streets to protest.      

However, Sammy Gyamfi decided to use that scenario to portray the decision of the Electoral Commission to compile a new voter's register amid covid 19.                                      

But Ghanaians have not taken it lightly with him at all. Most people believed that, that post is not appropriate because of the grief it has brought to black people including Sammy Gyamfi himself.                                                 

Sammy Gyamfi upon seeing the insults he has received, went and posted an explanation of the earlier post but that even destroyed things. Ghanaians call on him to delete the post and apologize.                             Will Sammy Gyamfi apologize?.
