Headlines: Ghana to evacuate stranded citizens in US.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration through it mission in New York is compiling a list of all Ghanaians in the US as Ghana's boarders remain closed.                                       This exercise is enable the government of Ghana to take a decision on evacuating stranded  citizens outside the boarders.            

In a press release signed by information officer of the consulate General in New York, Mr. Frederick Ameyaw, all affected people in the tri-states of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut are requested to register with the mission by Tuesday, May 12, 2020.                         

Information to be provided include name and Biodate of passport, US page and date of entry and state and city of residence in the US.                            

 Ghana's boarders remain closed since March 22, 2020 as part of measures to control the spread of covid 19 and also control importation of cases.
