Headline: NTC to deduct Ghc100 for licencing in-service teachers.
A letter from the three teacher unions in Ghana is alerting teachers that, with regards to the Ghc1,200 professional development allowance takes effect this year, after consultation with various stakeholders.
In view of this, the National Teaching Council after meeting with the pre- tertiary education unions have decided that, all in- service teachers are required to pay an amount of Ghc100 for issuance of license.
The said amount sighted in the letter will be deducted from source and the license will be renewed every three years.
